Karela United have secured a semi-final spot in the Normalization Committee
(NC) Special Competition after defeating Ebusua Dwarfs by a lone goal in the
final group game in Premier B.
In-form Diawsie Taylor stepped up and made no mistake from the spot after a foul on Patrick Yeaboah in the box resulted a penalty. The goal was his ninth in the competition so far.
Taylor leads the top scoring chat and behind him is Kotoko's Abdul Fatawu Safiu with eight goals in the race for the Golden Boost Award.
The Ayinase based club joins
Accra Hearts of Oak from Premier B to progress to the semi-final stage after
finishing second to the Phobians with 27 points.
Karela United will play away to
Ashgold in the semi-final at the Len Clay Sports Stadium in Obuasi next
month.
